Olive Young Black Friday Online vs In Store: Which Sale Is Still On, and How Do You Get It to Your Hotel?
Olive Young's own newsroom says the Korean Black Friday ran 1–7 November online and in stores. The 'until 12 November' date belongs to Olive Young Global, a separate site, and we could not confirm it. Here is what a visitor in Korea can still use and how online orders reach a hotel.
No. Checked on 8 November 2026, Olive Young's own newsroom says the Korean Black Friday ran 1–7 November both online and in stores, so the oliveyoung.co.kr online sale ended together with the store sale. The "until 12 November" date you may have seen belongs to Olive Young Global, a separate site, and we could not confirm it.

Do you know which product?
Quick Answer
If you are in Korea, treat the Korean Black Friday as over for both the app and the shops: it ran 1–7 November according to Olive Young's newsroom, with no later online end date. Olive Young Global (global.oliveyoung.com) is a different shop priced in US dollars with its own Black Friday page; its end date and whether it delivers to a Korean hotel are unverified. What you can still plan around in Korea is Olive Day (25–27 of every month, members only) and the December Olive Young Sale, whose dates are not announced yet. If you want something from oliveyoung.co.kr delivered to your hotel and the Korean checkout stops you, send us the product link and we order it for you.
Did the Olive Young online sale really run longer than the store sale?
Not on the Korean site. We went to the primary source instead of repeating other blogs. Olive Young's corporate newsroom article dated 29 October 2026 answers the question in its own Q&A: the 2026 Olive Young Black Friday runs from 1 November to 7 November. The same article says the coupons, special prices and gifts were available both online and offline. It gives no separate online end date.
A limit on our check: oliveyoung.co.kr blocked our requests during this research, so we could not open the event page on the shopping site itself. The newsroom is Olive Young's own publication, so we rely on it, but if you see a different date inside the app, the app's notices are where Olive Young says full schedules are posted.
Where does the "until 12 November" date come from?
Almost certainly from Olive Young Global. Several English-language posts write that "Olive Young's sale" runs to 12 November without saying which Olive Young they mean. Global's Black Friday event page was live when we checked; its page title reads "Up to 60% OFF Black Friday Starts Now!". But the page loaded only its menus for us, not the dates. We saw a 1–12 November window only in search-engine copies of that page, so we list it as unverified. The same copies mention excluded brands and a later app coupon; those are unverified too.
Olive Young Korea vs Olive Young Global: what is the difference?
| Olive Young Korea (oliveyoung.co.kr app/site) | Olive Young Korea stores | Olive Young Global (global.oliveyoung.com) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black Friday dates | 1–7 November (newsroom) | 1–7 November (newsroom) | Sale page live; dates not confirmed by us |
| Store-specific "Last Pick" deals | No | Yes, differ by store | No |
| Currency | Korean domestic site | In person | US dollars |
| Shipping | Domestic delivery, incl. same-day option (details unverified this run) | Carry it out | Free shipping advertised on orders over US$60; delivery to a Korean address unverified |
| Who it suits | Anyone with a Korean address who can get through checkout | Visitors who can walk in | Buyers abroad in countries it serves |
Two different shops means different prices, different brand line-ups and different sale calendars. A Global price is not proof of a Korean price, and the reverse is also true.
What was store-only during Black Friday?
The newsroom names "Last Pick" as the in-store feature: major stores each got their own extra-discount items, so what you found in one branch was not necessarily in another. There were also daily and weekly special prices, and a daily deal ended when its day ended. The Black Friday surprise box was a limited random box in two types, each with 6–7 full-size products, plus a limited "special drop" on 4 November; it was sold both in stores and online. Blogs give an online release time for the box, which we could not verify.
For future sales, the practical lesson is that store-only items cannot be ordered online by anyone, including us. Someone has to walk into the specific branch.
What can you still use if you are in Korea now?
- Olive Day: the 25th–27th of every month, for Olive Members only, per the newsroom. We have not verified whether a short-term visitor can become an Olive Member.
- The December Olive Young Sale: the newsroom says one follows Black Friday but gives no dates. Posts predicting specific December dates are guesses; one of them also predicted Black Friday dates that turned out wrong.
- Regular Olive Young Sales: four times a year, in March, June, September and December.
- Walking into a store: outside sale periods this is still often the simplest option. Our comparison of where to buy K-beauty in Korea covers when Olive Young is worth it.
Can you get Olive Young online prices delivered to your hotel?
The Korean site offers same-day delivery (오늘드림). We could not open its official page during this check, so we are not stating its hours, fee, minimum order or delivery area here; news figures on it that we saw only in search results are left out. We wrote separately about Olive Young same-day delivery to a hotel and what to do if it fails, and about whether online orders arrive before you check out.
Olive Young Global is the wrong tool for a hotel stay unless you confirm in its address form that it accepts a Korean address. A copy of its shipping page seems to list Korea, but we could not open the page to see the actual entry, so treat it as unverified.
Where do visitors get stuck on oliveyoung.co.kr?
We cannot give you a screen-by-screen account this time. The Korean site would not load for our research, and our order records do not contain an oliveyoung.co.kr checkout we can describe step by step. One blog says domestic sign-up needs a Korean-issued ID; we have not verified it. What we can say from other Korean sites is that phone verification and foreign cards are the usual walls; our guide to what to do when Korean apps reject a foreign card covers the general pattern. If you try oliveyoung.co.kr yourself and it works, buy direct.
How ordering through us works, and what it costs
We buy from Korean sites and stores, including Olive Young, on behalf of people who cannot get through because of a Korean phone number, a Korean card or the language, and we deliver to your hotel in Seoul, Busan or the wider Seoul metropolitan area. We work every day from 09:00 to 23:59 KST. During the Black Friday week our own records show cosmetics orders, including two 50 ml tubes of a Dr.G snail product, but we did not record which shop those came from, so we do not present them as Olive Young orders.
- Service fee: ₩8,000 per product link, ₩5,000 per extra item from the same shop. Three items from one Olive Young order: ₩8,000 + ₩5,000 + ₩5,000 = ₩18,000.
- Payment & currency handling: 8% of the total, free when the items come to ₩30,000 or less. No markup on exchange rates.
- Store runs (for store-only items in a future sale): from ₩50,000 per store.
- If we or the store cannot complete the order: full refund including service and payment fees.
- Payment: PayPal, card, Wise or Alipay.
Bulk orders are fine; send all links at once so the same-shop rate applies. If you leave before something arrives, we store it free for 30 days, then ₩1,000/day, and can ship it abroad at the carrier's actual rate. Alcohol-based perfume cannot go by Korea Post EMS, so carry it in your luggage plan instead. More on that in shipping your Korea shopping home after you leave.
When you should not use us
- You are near a store and the item is on the shelf: walk in.
- You can complete the oliveyoung.co.kr checkout yourself: our fee buys you nothing.
- You are abroad, Olive Young Global ships to your country and has the product: buying there is usually cheaper than a proxy. Check your country in Global's own address form rather than trusting blog lists; see also what changed for US buyers on Olive Young Global.
- You need an item that was a store-specific Last Pick deal that has ended: nobody can buy it at that price now.
FAQ
When was Olive Young Black Friday in Korea, and was it the same online and in store?
Olive Young's newsroom says the 2026 Korean Black Friday ran from 1 to 7 November, with coupons, special prices and gifts both online and offline. It gives no later online end date. We checked this on 8 November 2026.
Why do some sites say the Olive Young sale lasts until 12 November?
That date appears to come from Olive Young Global, the separate international site priced in US dollars, not from the Korean site. We saw it only in search-engine copies of Global's event page and could not load the dates ourselves, so it is unverified.
Were Last Pick deals available online?
No. According to Olive Young's newsroom, Last Pick was an in-store feature where major stores each had their own extra-discount items. Because items differed by store, they could not be ordered online.
When is the next Olive Young sale if I missed Black Friday?
Olive Day runs on the 25th–27th of every month for Olive Members only. Olive Young says a December Olive Young Sale follows Black Friday, but no December dates had been announced when we checked.
Can Olive Young Global deliver to my hotel in Korea?
We could not verify this. A copy of Global's shipping page appears to list Korea, but the page did not load for us. Check the address form on global.oliveyoung.com before paying, or order from the Korean site for domestic delivery.
Can DOWAME order from oliveyoung.co.kr and deliver to my hotel?
Yes. We charge ₩8,000 per product link and ₩5,000 per extra item from the same shop, plus 8% payment and currency handling, which is free when items total ₩30,000 or less. We deliver to hotels in Seoul, Busan and the wider Seoul metropolitan area, every day 09:00–23:59 KST.
