🇦🇺 Korea → Australia

Shipping from Korea to Australia.
At the carrier’s own rate.

What it costs

EMS to Australia

Korea Post’s published EMS rates, effective 1 July 2026, fuel surcharge already included. You can check them yourself at epost.go.kr. We bill this at cost and add nothing to it.

0.5 kg₩33,500
1 kg₩40,500
2 kg₩55,000
5 kg₩81,000
10 kg₩136,500

Carriers charge on volumetric weight when a box is large but light. Korea Post divides length by width by height in centimetres by 6,000; FedEx, UPS and DHL divide by 5,000, so the same box weighs 20% more with them. We tell you the chargeable weight before you pay.

How long

5–8 business days

Korea Post’s published EMS standard after dispatch, before customs clearance on arrival. Collecting and repacking in Korea usually adds a day or two.

Duty-free threshold

AUD 1,000

GST of 10% applies below the threshold. The recipient pays, and we state the expected amount in the quote before you pay.

Australian biosecurity is stricter than customs. Anything with seeds, plant material, wooden items or food is inspected, and undeclared food can be destroyed at your cost — we declare contents precisely for this reason.

What we cannot send

Better to know before you pay

  • Rechargeable lithium batteries, power banks, anything with a built-in battery — this rules out most K-pop light sticks (AA-battery models are fine)
  • Perfume, nail polish remover, all aerosols and sprays
  • Magnets, vapes, alcohol, tobacco
  • Food containing meat or dairy — including ramyeon soup bases — cannot enter Australia
