🇯🇵 Korea → Japan
Shipping from Korea to Japan.
At the carrier’s own rate.
Something left at a hotel, a parcel that arrived after you flew out, or an item only sold in Korea. A person in Seoul collects it, photographs it so you know it’s the right thing, repacks it, and sends it to Japan.

Carriers charge on volumetric weight when a box is large but light. Korea Post divides length by width by height in centimetres by 6,000; FedEx, UPS and DHL divide by 5,000, so the same box weighs 20% more with them. We tell you the chargeable weight before you pay.
How long
2–4 business days
Korea Post’s published EMS standard after dispatch, before customs clearance on arrival. Collecting and repacking in Korea usually adds a day or two.
Duty-free threshold
¥10,000
Assessed on customs value. The recipient pays, and we state the expected amount in the quote before you pay.
Japan is the cheapest destination on this list by a wide margin — 10kg costs less than 2kg to the United States. If you are deciding whether to ship or carry it next trip, shipping usually wins here.

- Rechargeable lithium batteries, power banks, anything with a built-in battery — this rules out most K-pop light sticks (AA-battery models are fine)
